Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (MAS) is used as a rheological modifier and binder in many pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations.

Pharmacuticals - High purity MAS conforming to the National Formulary are used as thickeners, binders and suspending agents in a wide variety of pharmaceutical applications such as, tablets, acne creams and lotions, analgesic creams, anti-diarrheal suspensions, etc.

Cosmetics / Personal Care - High purity MAS is used as a thickener and suspending agent in sunscreen preparations, facial creams and masks, hair care products, make-up preparations, hand and body lotions, shaving creams, anti-persperants, toothpastes, etc.
